It has been a long time since I wrote on this blog. I am not a writer but I do love to hear & read what others have to say.
During this time of "IKE" we were truly blessed by God and all He has done. We live in a trailer that could have been destroyed but through God's grace He took care of us as we seat through the storm.
Even now as we await the insurance decision we know He , that is GOD is all powerful and gracious.
Every day you can see just what the Lord has done and is doing. Yet we give Him no credit. We say look at what we have done.
We have a brand new family member born during the storm and she is a true gift from God.
How often do you take the time just to tell him thank you for the good times as well as the bad.
The good times we jump for joy over and the bad we just say "Why me?"
Stop and tell Him thank you for all things.

God's Plan of Salvation
By nature, your heart runs from God and rebels against Him. The Bible calls this "sin.'" Romans 3:23 [KJV] says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Yet, God loves you and wants to save you from sin, to offer you a new life of hope. John 10:10 [KJV] says,"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." To give you this gift of salvation, God made a way through his Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8 [KJV] says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." You receive this gift by faith alone. Ephesians 2:8-9 [KJV] says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Faith is a decision of your heart demonstrated by genuine repentence and changed actions in your life. Romans 10:9 [KJV] says, "For if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
If you are choosing right now to believe Jesus died for your sins and receive new life through Him, pray a prayer similar to this, accepting Him and thanking Him for your new life."
DEAR GOD, I KNOW I AM A SINNER. I BELIEVE JESUS DIED TO FORGIVE ME OF MY SINS. I NOW ACCEPT YOUR OFFER OF ETERNAL LIFE. THANK YOU FOR FORGIVING MY OF ALL MY SIN. THANK YOU FOR MY NEW LIFE. FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, I WILL CHOOSE TO FOLLOW YOU.
